Will you assist in Generals?

The team Generals of the American football of Gakushuin is going to play a game on June 26.
The opponent is Tokyo City University.
The place is a playground of Gakushuin.
Will you go to assist in someone?

  1. Are you on the team Akira? I don't know the rules of American football but playing sport is a good way to stay fit and I love cheering for my favourite Aussie rules football team. Louise

  2. Hello, teacher.
    Thanks for your comment.
However I don't belong to Generals, I like any football. The stadium of Aussie rules football is oval, isn't it?
And I think that it is a rule that mixes the rule of Rugby and American football,
    am I misunderstanding it?

  3. Hi Akira,
Yes, Aussie rules is played on an oval. I don't know much about rugby and American football so I'm not sure if it's a mixture of the two, but you can see clips of it if you put 'Australian rules football' into the search bar at www.youtube.com Enjoy!

  4. Hello, teacher.
I saw some ARF movies at Youtube.
It was very interesting and I enjoyed watching movies.
And thank you for your introducing it.
The ARF players don't wear the protector. This is same as Rugby.
In addition, they may throw a ball forward. This is same as American football.
I think distinguishing features of ARF rule is they mustn't be running over 15m, holding a ball.
This rule is looks like the rule of basketball. So ARF players were dribbling the ball.

Tomorrow, the game of Generals VS Helios(Tokyo City Univers0ity) is going to play.
I will cheer up the game!

    Thank you.
